Ahoy There!

I swoon over a nautically inspired ensemble. As overly preppy as it may be, I can't get enough. Navy is a great color to use color with. The hues pop off the neutral palette. Nothing screams summer like anchors and ropes which put me in the mood to set sail!

Practical Reinvented

The corporate scene doesn't have to mean drab pant suits and lackluster attire. Today at work I channel the sunshine and boast bright yellow trousers contrasted with a charming, but fashion-forward exaggerated peplum top in black. The peplum is dramatic and trendy (notice the exposed back zipper) yet suitable for a business environment.

Brunch Worthy

I had a whirlwind time this weekend in DC! A maxi dress is brunch perfection, which is where I was headed. A cotton maxi embodies fashion functionality! Print adds an enchanting accent to laid back luster. A touch of high shine is incorporated with my gold fold-over cross-body.

Watercolor

Watercolor is ultra girly and can be dressed up or down easily. The warm tones create a sense of understated opulence. The gathered ruffle on the side adds adds an element of glam. I love that the dress is work-worthy but can take you straight to happy hour!

Beach Retreat

Spending the 4th of July seaside was pure bliss! Sun-filled days call for a fun-filled cover up. The DVF for Roxy line is the best of both worlds; high fashion and beach chic. The cover-up is light weight and relaxed and even has pockets! (dreamy right?) I tried to keep it stylish while protecting my face from the sun with a large straw hat.

A Southern Staple

A white linen dress should be considered a southern summer staple. (not to mention, perfection for the upcoming holiday) It's breezy and simple and color is easy to pair with it! I'm currently crazy for these coral wedges and combined my neon MAC.
