Summer Sheath

Not much is cozier than a soft cotton sheath dress. (Ok, maybe your PJ's) I find this vibrant shade absolutely irresistible for summer. The ruching through the side of the dress adds a little something extra and takes it from a plain cotton dress and adds a touch of glam. The gold braided espadrilles add summer shimmer as does the gold cutout necklace and clover earrings.

Black & White

It's back to basics with classic black and white! There's something about these neutral colors that make you feel ultimately posh. The look is minimalist, yet crisp and elegant. I love the way the top is cinched at the waist with the accordion pleating that almost creates whimsical movement. I had to cheat a little and throw in the hot pink wallet, while combing downtown for an afternoon coffee fix!

Spring Scallop

Hello sunshine! Finally, I can kick off my boots and step into strappy sandals! A sheath dress is a wardrobe essential and what better embellishment than an adorable scallop hemline? It's been a fashion challenge to find the perfect bag, but I just might have achieved it! I'm swooning over the structured leather bag with studs and I love the balance of edgy and elegance.

Simple Stripes

I'm slightly crazed for nautical stripes. I consider this dress my wear-with-anything frock. It's simple to add a dash of extra with fun accessories. Throw on a pair of colored flats and I'm out the door in no time!

Girly Twirly in Mint

Ahhh mint! So fresh for spring and I'm absolutely fixated on the color! I'm the girly girl who feels prettiest in fun frocks that I can twirl in. Mission accomplished! To balance the femme tulle, I tucked in a more masculine chambray top and couldn't stop spinning around in this playful skirt.

The Shirtdress

The concept of a shirt dress for spring is perfection! The chambray is light-weight and easy to wear and the subtle polka-dot details are fresh for the season. The throw-on-and-go frock will most likely be in heavy-rotation. The braided belt adds slight shape and the possibilities of accessories are endless. So excited to break out my neon MAC cross-body!

Coral Crop

My love affair with color is no secret, so I was ecstatic to find these amazing coral crop pants. (As you can tell, I've also been suffering from a slight obsession with the crop pant lately) The touch of glam with the sequin top is perfection to me as is the marrying of coral with pops of neon.

Casual

There's nothing more inviting on a chilly day than an over-sized cozy sweater. This is one of my favorites! Such an easy look to pull off and so comfortable! Skinny jeans, flat riding boots, and classic blouse (with a little bling!) make for an easy afternoon of weekend shopping!

Chambray Lovin

Lately I'm loving elements of style that contradict one another. The casual chambray blouse tucked into a lace black skirt marries relaxed with ladylike. Feeling obligated to add color, I belted the skirt and threw on neutral flats.

Prep in my Step

When in doubt, I compile all of my J.Crew apparel! It's sense of classicism makes it easy to throw an outfit together when you hit snooze one too many times in the morning! PS- There's something about a crisp blouse, but I adore the pleating detail on the sleeves and collar.

Black & Blue

This frock is an old favorite, but it got thrown to the back of my closet when a button fell off. I finally got around to replacing all the buttons and am loving the updated gold textured ones! I'm really drawn to colored tights for the season.
