Safari Scarf

Today's casual look combines a khaki (yes, two outfits involving khaki in a row!) skirt with your standard stripe top. Mixing prints is a fashion favorite and adding a light weight scarf with wild safari elements amps up a basic look. Feeling the urge for color, I'm prancing around in green suede flats.

Fancy in Fur

I consider fur timeless and elegant. There's something about it that makes you feel fancy. (and warm!) The pullover style of this faux fur piece is casual enough for every day, or upscale for date night. The ponte legging adds edge with zips on the back on the ankle as do the studs on the pointed patent flat.

Carpe Diem

Today I play and mix different styles with a relaxed light-weight sweater over top of a printed skirt. (Not to mention, I love the inspiration) I love the way the burnt color brings out the foliage on the skirt. Finishing the look with a nude pointed flat and studded neutral bag.

Fall Function

Labor Day officially leaves behind summer, but that doesn't mean afternoon heat doesn't take over. As we transition, I try to stick to light weight fabrics, and a color combination that includes both fall and warmer colors as well. As much as I'm ready to slip on a leather jacket, it's just not practical for September in NC! I'm keeping it nice, light with a splash of color in this DVF jersey dress.

Chevron

Since I can't stay away from summer brights (such as my hot pink skirt), I balance the hue with black and white chevron. I like the idea of different elements, such as preppy and punk. Therefore, I added the pointed patent flats with studs. Happy summer!

Simple Stripes

I'm slightly crazed for nautical stripes. I consider this dress my wear-with-anything frock. It's simple to add a dash of extra with fun accessories. Throw on a pair of colored flats and I'm out the door in no time!

Valentino Crazed, Girl on a Budget

I've been dying to get my hands on a pair of studded Valentino flats...but since I can't justify that purchase, I found the next best thing! I can't lie; I'm obsessing over these flats (and the price). Welcome to my wardrobe!

Fall Foliage

The yellow butterflies are fluttering and leaves are slowing descending from the trees, which means Fall has officially arrived! The berry, mustard and ruby colors in the skirt remind me chilly days to come. (PS- A little Chanel can make any girl feel fancy!)
