Primary Colors

Today it's back to basics by combining primary colors. The tweed top has metallic thread woven into it for a touch of shine and the tie on the back adds a chic element. The black walkable wedge can easily take you from work to play as a transition piece.

Practical Reinvented

The corporate scene doesn't have to mean drab pant suits and lackluster attire. Today at work I channel the sunshine and boast bright yellow trousers contrasted with a charming, but fashion-forward exaggerated peplum top in black. The peplum is dramatic and trendy (notice the exposed back zipper) yet suitable for a business environment.

Yellow

It's official, I have spring fever! With unpredictable NC weather, it was 70 degrees this week. Time for a splash of spring with yellow pants! Nothing like pairing your trusty white cotton tee with classic crops.

A Ladylike Cape

Thanks to hurricane Sandy, I was able to pull out my favorite fall accessory, my cape! This was the first Christmas present I ever received from my fiance (this is the first time I'm writing that word!) and I have adored it ever since. I'm drawn to the skirt because of the Jacquard leopard fabric.

Color Block

I like to experiment with the use of color. Just because the temperature drops, I try not to limit my repertoire   to just black or gray. Belting is another current craze that I find almost full proof with many outfits!

Chevron

I'm such a fan of this top because I received it as a present from a dear friend! I can't get enough of the brightly colored crop pant for fall!

Geometric

This lemon yellow color is one that for the longest time I thought I couldn't pull off. In the summer months, I've learned to love this hue! The pockets in the dress are a bonus and the neckline falls just right! I'm swooning over my latest wrist candy, the gold cluster bracelet that adds a little punk to something sweet.
