Practical Reinvented

The corporate scene doesn't have to mean drab pant suits and lackluster attire. Today at work I channel the sunshine and boast bright yellow trousers contrasted with a charming, but fashion-forward exaggerated peplum top in black. The peplum is dramatic and trendy (notice the exposed back zipper) yet suitable for a business environment.

Eggplant

This pret-a-porter frock is not only practical, but I appreciate that it can also be snazzed up! The deep eggplant color is flattering on a majority of skin tones and is easy to pair with black or gold! (Hues all women have possess) The detailing on the sleeves is minimal, but is slightly raised to create the illusion of definition. Though you can't see the back of the dress, there is an exposed zipper that adds yet another element of style.
