Primary Colors

Today it's back to basics by combining primary colors. The tweed top has metallic thread woven into it for a touch of shine and the tie on the back adds a chic element. The black walkable wedge can easily take you from work to play as a transition piece.

Tweed and Shimmer

Today's pairing is the olive pant with a tweed top that has metallic thread woven, in to add for a touch of shimmer. I love the small elements within this ensemble from the metallic to the bow on the back of the top to the zippers on the pockets of the pants! It's the little things!

Olive

On dismal winter days, it's a challenge to think past the go-to black work pant. In an attempt not to get fussy as I prep for another work day, I pulled out my olive work pant; complete with zippers and leather trim! I throw on a printed blouse and finish the look with leg lengthening jewel tone calf hair pumps!

Bright Idea

My neon tweed jacket offers a shot of color against darker winter-like garments. The vivid hue amps up an otherwise lackluster work outfit. Though the colors of my top are simple, the tailored kimono sleeve adds edge. Walking around in the suede, pointed, open back pumps gives me a slight fifth avenue feel and when I laid eyes on them, I swooned over the adorably structured bows!

Feeling Fancy

Brrr! As we say sayonara to any last glimmer of warmer weather, it's time to pull out cold weather essentials such as tweed, tights and quilted Chanel bags (Ok, so you will most likely survive the chill sans Chanel) A high-waisted skirt works because it creates a soft A-line look and cinches just at the right part above your hips. The tulle accents on my top add an element of fun and you can't go wrong with tweed! (I don't care what the critics say, I'm a huge fan of winter white!) Lastly, my vintage Chanel purse was a rare find but probably one of the best purchases I ever made. It adds luxury to any attire and I kind of die every time I switch out purses to this one!
