Blackout
Though I'm a self proclaimed color enthusiast, black is such an easy color to wear. Today is black on black with the addition of a scarf and a little gold bling for contrast.
Sweater: Joie (very similar here); Legging: Old Navy; Scarf: DVF (similar); Bootie: Target; Tassel Necklace: Similar Bauble Bar option; Bag: Louis Vuitton; Sunnies: Tory Burch

Safari Scarf
Today's casual look combines a khaki (yes, two outfits involving khaki in a row!) skirt with your standard stripe top. Mixing prints is a fashion favorite and adding a light weight scarf with wild safari elements amps up a basic look. Feeling the urge for color, I'm prancing around in green suede flats.
Skirt: Banana Republic; Top: Target (Great Option Here); Scarf: DVF (Similar Colors Here); Flats: H&M (On Sale Here); Jewels: Margaret Elizabeth Bangle, Michele Watch, David Yurman, Chanel Earrings

Basic Black
I have to admit, I'm yearning to trade my wool blends for linen in lieu of spring. Until the sun decides to make an appearance, I'm sticking to the basic black sweater dress and boots. Unable to resist color, I wrap up in a patterned scarf.

Fur in the City
A quick weekend trip to NYC is cause to break out a fur coat. What better way to gallivant around the city? It's a luxe finish with street chic quality. Leather boots are a must, and my warmest foot attire. Styled with a light weight scarf over a neutral sweater. I'm ready to take on the town!
Fur Coat: Old, but love this style; Ponte Pant: Ann Taylor (similar here); Riding Boot: Tory Burch (similar); Scarf: DVF (this color sold out, but these are great for the season); Bag: Louis Vuitton

Cranberry Crush
A week out from Thanksgiving and food is already on my mind! Holidays remind me of family gatherings and colorful spreads. The sweater wraps dress is an ode to the cranberry side. The hue is muted and warm and perfect with other neutral colors such as black and white. All wrapped up with the edition of a wedge boot and winter coat this November day.

Monochromatic
There is not much easier than a classic wrap dress...unless it's a faux wrap. This dress is easy to throw on and you don't even have to worry about tying the perfect bow! The brown and white animal print is simplistic enough to add a variety of accessories or color. I embraced a more monochromatic route for understated style.

Lunch Date
The past week and a half was a whirlwind and I have never felt so loved! I wore this hot pink DVF dress to my bridesmaids luncheon and felt sassy yet sophisticated. I paired it with a simple nude ankle strap heel and a few baubles for the ultimate in upscale brunch-wear!
Dress: DVF, Heels: French Connection (slightly different color here), Clutch: Tory Burch (similar here and on SALE!), Bracelets: David Yurman, Alexis Bittar (similar), J.Crew

Chartreuse
Chartreuse is a perfect hue for fall. It is bold, yet muted appropriately for the season. I swoon over the neckline that is made up of multiple bands. It feels sophisticated with a splash of fun. I love the idea of mixing a print in with the leopard heels.

Fall Function
Labor Day officially leaves behind summer, but that doesn't mean afternoon heat doesn't take over. As we transition, I try to stick to light weight fabrics, and a color combination that includes both fall and warmer colors as well. As much as I'm ready to slip on a leather jacket, it's just not practical for September in NC! I'm keeping it nice, light with a splash of color in this DVF jersey dress.
Dress: DVF (same cut, different pattern for this season!), Flats: C-Label, Necklace: Moon & Lola (a personal fave!), Other Baubles: Stella & Dot, Alexis Bittar and J.Crew, Sunnies: Tory Burch
