Chunky Knit

When the weatherman calls for an arctic blast, it's time to pull out the chunky knits. Today is back to basics with black and white and a soft gray coat. Booties and leggings have been a go-to this winter.

Summer Shades

The summer days are drifting away and I'm feeling nautically inspired and pairing navy and white. Though, a disbeliever of the "no white after Labor Day" rule, I'm trying to get in all the white I can before the fall air arrives.

White Weather

Though I never abide by the rule to wait and wear white after Labor Day, it's officially the season where it's acceptable to obsessively wear white! Not only is it cool on sun blazing days, but the hue is crisp and effortless. Pair your most eclectic and vibrant accessories to pack a punch against the soft palette. Today's combination is clean white with gold accessories plus a little fun with tortoise and turquoise earrings.

Pirate Flag and an Island Girl

It took a little vitamin D to get me into a spring like mood. After some time off from blogging, I'm back with no tights or heavy overcoats. Actually, I'm embracing the opposite. A getaway to paradise put me on island time and what better way to celebrate sun and sand than in a light-weight cover-up and sandals...oh, and a margarita doesn't hurt!

Cranberry Crush

A week out from Thanksgiving and food is already on my mind! Holidays remind me of family gatherings and colorful spreads. The sweater wraps dress is an ode to the cranberry side. The hue is muted and warm and perfect with other neutral colors such as black and white. All wrapped up with the edition of a wedge boot and winter coat this November day.

Afternoon Tea

As I wind down with wedding planning and the parties and showers conclude, I'm feeling rather royal at a Sunday tea party. The white frock with a sheer top is as close to bridal as it gets. Feeling ultra girly, I adored the rosettes gathered at the bottom of the dress. No tea party is complete without a fasinator!

A Southern Staple

A white linen dress should be considered a southern summer staple. (not to mention, perfection for the upcoming holiday) It's breezy and simple and color is easy to pair with it! I'm currently crazy for these coral wedges and combined my neon MAC.

Black & White

It's back to basics with classic black and white! There's something about these neutral colors that make you feel ultimately posh. The look is minimalist, yet crisp and elegant. I love the way the top is cinched at the waist with the accordion pleating that almost creates whimsical movement. I had to cheat a little and throw in the hot pink wallet, while combing downtown for an afternoon coffee fix!

Hello March!

So it isn't officially spring, but buttercups are blooming and pastels are imploding the windows of all my favorite retailers.  I'm welcoming March with open arms and I refuse to wait until Easter to wear white pants!  I'm adoring the seriously chic mint color for spring, so I was ecstatic to find this light-weight mint sweater with muted designs.
