Elegance and Edge

Fashion loves a contradiction, so I love the combination of an elegant fabric such as silk with leather. It gives an edgy kick to a basic outfit. I highly recommend a splurge on a leather jacket moto as a statement piece for fall and winter. It is classic and will transcend time.

Beach Chic

The feel of this carefree high-low dress is weightless and playful! I die over the exotic print and cutout back. Perfect for a beach to street look, which is exactly what I did! With the vaca feel of the dress, I thought an ankle strap gladiator sandals would be perfection. With a backdrop this beautiful, I can stand the wind-blown tresses.

Embroidered Jacquard

Today, I officially welcomed spring into my life! Basking in the warmth, I embraced texture with embroidery, and jacquard. I can't avert my eyes from the hot pink and thought the exposed zipper was just the right finishing touch. The black empire waist breaks up the dress and gives the illusion of a tulip shape in the skirt. The black also makes accessorizing a cinch! (everyone owns something black!)

Ruffles

It's true that you can't go wrong with an LBD, but why not add daring details? I consider the ruffles on the dress a statement piece, but on my shoulders! This is my go-to LBD because of the fitted waist, chic shoulder details and pleated sides that make for one flirtatious frock! (Did I mention the exposed zipper on the back? LOVE!) I'm dying over the ankle strap trend and the sandal pairs so easily with the rest of the look because of the minimalist features, thin ankle strap and the snakeskin back!

Print Smitten

As the girl that is totally smitten with striking prints, I adore this frock! It's fun and just flirty enough! I also like the marrying of the two fabrics with the lace detail around the neckline. With the dress being so busy, I went with my go-top black pump. Happy Friday!

Black on Black

Monochromatic is the word. Black on black is easy, yet sophisticated. Maybe I was inspired by the red carpet attire at the SAG Awards, but it was one of those day! (Black was a hue of the evening!) Patterned tights add texture and the abstract scarf breaks up the solid palette.
