Gray Day

Every woman should own an effortless, cotton dress. This is one of mine. It is a throw on and go frock that I can dress up or down; add flats or sandals; jewels or none. The simple shift is comfortable with a cool subdued gray tone and gold zipper pockets. To add some shine, I layered on a favorite Moon & Lola tiered necklace.

It's Electric

Not to give the sun any competition, but neon is a summer favorite. This killer combination of tribal design and vibrant color is the perfect wardrobe refresher. The dress is day to night perfection. Not to take away from the dress, simple wedges were a subtle addition. The casual, cool fringe back brings the look together.

Beloved Brocade

The addition of texture instantly adds glam uto any outfit. Brocade is a flattering trend that has the ability to work with whatever is already in your closet. Today's pairing is a simple, everyday tie blouse with brocade pants. The finishing touch is my ultimate winter add-on; a fur vest. Easy enough, right?

Black on Black

Sometimes you have to embrace the beauty, simplicity and upscale appeal of black. As a color fiend, this is rare for me, but today I'm giving in on a rainy, October morning. The slight drama of the peplum in addition to leopard pumps give it just enough to standout from your every day black on black ensemble.

Flashy Fringe

When I think of fringe;  playful and party come to mind. Not to mention it embraces this summer's Great Gatsby's 1920's glitz theme. Amplifying the texture even more is the layering of lace. Today's version is somewhat dressed down, but could totally steal the spotlight by adding a sequin tank and a glass of champagne! (always add champagne) Though I have embraced the ensemble as black and white, color could easily be added with a bold clutch or bag,  an edgy pump or simply a coral lip!

Chevron

Since I can't stay away from summer brights (such as my hot pink skirt), I balance the hue with black and white chevron. I like the idea of different elements, such as preppy and punk. Therefore, I added the pointed patent flats with studs. Happy summer!

Exaggerated Peplum

I'm on board the peplum train and I squealed a little when I found this one with such an exaggerated one! The contour on the waist followed by a dramatic flare make for a figure flattering top! I belted it to break up the black with gold and per usual insisted on a pop; so I let the citrus pumps speak for themselves.

Black & White

It's back to basics with classic black and white! There's something about these neutral colors that make you feel ultimately posh. The look is minimalist, yet crisp and elegant. I love the way the top is cinched at the waist with the accordion pleating that almost creates whimsical movement. I had to cheat a little and throw in the hot pink wallet, while combing downtown for an afternoon coffee fix!

Black on Black

Monochromatic is the word. Black on black is easy, yet sophisticated. Maybe I was inspired by the red carpet attire at the SAG Awards, but it was one of those day! (Black was a hue of the evening!) Patterned tights add texture and the abstract scarf breaks up the solid palette.

Jewel Tones

I think jewel tones are perfect for a fall or winter wedding. I wore this peplum number to a Friday evening soiree for the bride and groom. Stay tuned for the Saturday wedding attire.
